REIKI SESSIONS
For all who would like to learn more about Reiki, please plan to attend the Reiki
Circle scheduled
for Tuesdays from 6:00pm -
8:30pm in the Fellowship Hall of
Unity Center for Spiritual Living. Our plan is to have a monthly
session
on the first Tuesday of each month and it is open to UCFSL and the
community.
For those not familiar with Reiki, it is a method
of hands-on
energy healing and is used to aid the healing process. The entire
universe is made
up of energy and Reiki is a very powerful tool for helping balance the
energy
field of our body to assist in reducing stress. When the body's stress
level goes down, it is in a better position to heal. Our bodies are
designed to
heal themselves at a cellular level; however, when the body is stressed,
it does
not function as well to allow healing to take place. Reiki works on
physical,
emotional, and mental levels.
A Reiki Circle consists of spending a short time,
probably
no more than 20-30 minutes, sitting in a circle with all attendees,
participating
in a brief meditation, and listening to a brief explanation of Reiki.
Then
those who have come for a session will have the opportunity to
experience Reiki
with a Reiki practitioner. Come and enjoy this exciting tool that can
be
used for almost any situation. We request that those receiving Reiki
consider a Love Offering to the church for the use of the facility.

Spiritual Development Classes
Rev. Lady Diannia Baty is an author, spiritual life coach, public
speaker and a gifted psychic. She has been teaching classes in
spiritual development for over fifteen years and is currently teaching
in Salisbury, NC.
She empowers you to peace and knowledge of self and proper use of the
mind.You will be encouraged to take God out of the box and explore and
deeper level of communication with the creator.
These weekly Thursday classes will explore all manner of personal,
physical, emotional and spiritual subjects such as meditation, the
universal laws, your body and even some scientific findings that affect
you and your life.
The classes are only a donation and will propel your life forward in
ways you never dreamed.

RUNNING GROUP
The UCFSL running group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays
at the University City YMCA track at 6:15 pm. The YMCA is conveniently
located less than one mile from the church. For those of you who are
interested, please feel free to join us! We have a great time and it is
alot of fun!
Also, there is discussion about a walking group, for
those of you who are not interested in running.
