Deeksha (Oneness) Blessing
The purpose of the Oneness Blessing is to help people move into a higher state of consciousness. The ultimate goal being that the individual should experience oneness with god/universe all of the time. The Oneness Blessing is secular, and its purpose is to transform humankind into a higher state of consciousness. People of all cultures, religions and countries are welcome to try this energy transmission. People are encouraged to connect with the divine in the aspect of their choice while receiving the transmission (christ, buddha, allah, yahweh, universal consciousness or just light). It doesnt matter what one chooses to believe in. The Oneness Blessing does not discriminate.
The Blessing is offered during the Prayers and Blessings segment every Sunday.

REIKI CIRCLE
For those not familiar with Reiki, it is a method of hands-on energy healing and is used to aid the healing process. The entire universe is made up of energy and Reiki is a very powerful tool for helping balance the energy field of our body to assist in reducing stress. When the body's stress level goes down, it is in a better position to heal. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves at a cellular level; however, when the body is stressed, it does not function as well to allow healing to take place. Reiki works on physical, emotional, and mental levels.
A Reiki Circle consists of spending a short time, probably no more than 20-30 minutes, sitting in a circle with all attendees, participating in a brief meditation, and listening to a brief explanation of Reiki. Then those who have come for a session will have the opportunity to experience Reiki with a Reiki practitioner. Come and enjoy this exciting tool that can be used for almost any situation. We request that those receiving Reiki consider a Love Offering to the church for the use of the facility.
